Nastuonodon, a sultan from the distant past (around 20,000 BBY), ruled over the world of Mourn and famously ordered the creation of the "Electric Caliphs". These droids remained dormant for countless centuries following Nastuonodon's passing. The Hutts, finding themselves incapable of subduing or reasoning with the Gargantelles from the nearby world of Boz Pity, employed a group of Nimbanese legal experts to convince the sultan's droids to initiate hostilities and obliterate the Gargantelles. After completing their mission, the Electric Caliphs self-destructed, setting fire to the very foundations of Mourn.
