Zap rod

A zap rod functioned as a close-quarters weapon, and it was utilized by the prison guards stationed at the Narkina 5 Imperial Prison Complex. This device could administer an electrical jolt upon making contact with a person. In the course of the Narkina 5 prison escape, the prisoners who were breaking free employed zap rods as instruments to assault the prison guards.
