A Watcher represented a specific position within the Sith Empire's Imperial Intelligence organization. These individuals functioned as analysts, responsible for data retrieval, assessment, and interpretation, subsequently communicating their insights to the Cipher Agents. A Keeper served as the direct superior to Watchers.

Advancement to the Watcher rank was possible for individuals previously holding the rank of Minders.
