Wasting disease

A wasting disease, sometimes referred to as a wasting illness, was a form of disease capable of afflicting both Nautolans and Weequays. It is known that, around 385 BBY, a Weequay individual belonging to the Path of the Open Hand cult succumbed to a wasting disease, resulting in their death. Furthermore, in the years leading up to 382 BBY, the Nautolan Path member Opari Plouth was afflicted with a wasting disease; however, she was able to recover due to medical treatment administered by Elecia Zeveron, who held the position of leader within the Path.
