Virec Xan

Xan took on the responsibility of establishing the organization's foothold inside the shadowport. He accomplished this by assassinating the previous leader of the Anjiliac Kajidic, while also ensuring a positive relationship with both the Hutt clan and the rival criminal syndicate known as Epsis. Xan dedicated a significant portion of his life to the Sable Dawn, and his devotion to the secretive members of its inner circle was absolute. His primary focus was always on gathering intelligence, a departure from his organization's typical focus on lethal operations. Nevertheless, his capacity for taking lives was undeniable, as he personally terminated the careers of numerous unsuccessful agents with minimal effort.

While in Point Nadir, Xan maintained a low profile, making appearances only when the comet's governing council held their infrequent meetings. Despite his attempts to remain unseen, his presence was known throughout the shadowport, his identity recognizable even when he was disguised, which was almost always. At Xan's instigation, the Sable Dawn engaged in philanthropic activities within the impoverished areas of the shadowport's Fissure District. This improved the organization's reputation among the public and enabled the cartel to identify potential recruits.

Despite his advanced age, Virec Xan was a formidable and lethal Force Adept, demonstrating exceptional skill in the domain of telekinesis. Furthermore, he possessed a captivating personality, which he could wield to instill fear in allies and enemies alike, or to undermine an opponent's determination. In battle, he wielded a sporting blaster pistol, but he relied more heavily on his Force abilities.
