Vernost, a volcanic world and the sole location in the galaxy where the extraordinary substance known as Ceela could be located, was classified as a planet. A conflict erupted in 2 ABY within the planet's canyon regions as the Alliance to Restore the Republic clashed with the forces of the Galactic Empire for control of the Ceela.
