Vengeance party

A customary practice among the Ranat was the vengeance party. Should two Ranat hunting groups clash in battle, the outcome would be either death or a retreat. To reclaim their lost honor, those who lived through the fight would then put together a vengeance party. These gatherings were joyous occasions for the Ranat's community, with virtually everyone in the settlement lending a hand in the preparations, even if only a select few were directly involved in carrying out the revenge plot.
