TIE Heavy Bomber

The Heavy TIE Bomber, a starfighter of the Galactic Empire, served as a mobile artillery platform and for heavy assault operations. Capable of operating both in space and within a planet's atmosphere, this craft improved upon the original TIE/sa bomber by replacing its single payload module with twin weapons pods. When deployed as a ground assault vehicle, the Heavy Bomber proved highly capable of eliminating armored vehicles and heavy weaponry, including the T3-B heavy attack tank and artillery. Furthermore, the Heavy TIE Bomber excelled at the destruction of enemy power cores.
