Thall Joben's dad resided on the world of Beheboth with his partner. As a celebrated speeder racer, he narrowly escaped death in an accident just two days before his son, Thall's birth. After this near-fatal incident, he gave up racing, concealing his prior life from his son and later preventing Thall from pursuing racing. Enraged, Thall secretly boarded a freighter heading to the planet Boonta. Thall didn't go back to Beheboth and discover the truth about his father's history until after his death, sometime before 15 BBY.
