Teehl operated as both a pirate and a mercenary. A black and gold spacesuit, showing signs of combat but meticulously maintained, encased her. Though her face was hidden behind a polarized faceplate, her comlink transmissions revealed a pleasant voice. She was perpetually helmeted, and the number of individuals who had glimpsed her bare face and survived to recount the tale was exceedingly small.
Initially, Teehl served as the preferred concubine of a significant pirate. She diligently labored and accumulated wealth until she possessed sufficient funds to acquire her own vessel. This ship was named the Grasp, and she launched her independent career immediately after its purchase. She transitioned into a mercenary for hire, notably undertaking enforcement tasks for Jabba the Hutt. Jabba tasked her with retrieving a gravity-well projector under the control of the Ugors, an assignment that occurred sometime following the Battle of Yavin. The Alliance and the Squibs also sought the same projector, with the intention of utilizing it to extract the Elusive from hyperspace before its successful delivery of Alliance datapacks to the Empire.
It would be inaccurate to label Teehl as utterly without feeling, as she harbored genuine concern for each person she double-crossed and eliminated. However, her self-preservation instincts were paramount, and anyone who developed a close relationship with her inevitably presented an obstacle to her ambitions.
