Subaquatic amplifying array

A piece of equipment capable of boosting signals originating from underwater environments was called a subaquatic amplifying array, or sometimes a subaquatic amp. The Draedan pirate Aurelant possessed a Horvax-16 transmitter that was equipped with one of these subaquatic amplifying arrays.
