Spinward

In the realms of galactic map-making and space navigation (or astrogation), the term spinward denoted the direction directly opposing trailing. This term indicated celestial objects that revolved in a northern and/or eastern direction when viewed from a specific point orbiting the galactic center, considering the galaxy's counterclockwise rotation.
