Design Section 19 functioned as a clandestine organization within the Imperial structure, responsible for the creation of top-secret starship schematics for the Galactic Empire.
History
It was rumored that a few of their starship designs incorporated functional cloaking devices. In the time of the Black Fleet Crisis, the New Republic launched an investigation into a hyperspace communication device, with speculation that Section 19 may have manufactured it during the height of the Empire's power.
