Sacred Villages

Sacred Villages existed on the desert world of Jakku. [Tuanul](/article/tuanul], one such village, was home to adherents of the Church of the Force. These individuals rejected contemporary technology, opting to fabricate their own devices to foster a deeper connection with the natural world. During a skirmish between the First Order and the Resistance three decades following the Battle of Endor, it faced annihilation. The First Order ransacked the village.

A separate Sacred Village was populated by individuals who held the Hutts in reverence, treating them as deities. Local legend suggested this specific village was built surrounding the ornate, jewel-encrusted cranial covering of Niima the Hutt personally.
