Sabacc pot

In the card game sabacc, each player contributed to two distinct pools at the start of every round; one of these was the sabacc pot. Differing from the hand pot, which was awarded to the victor of a specific hand, the sabacc pot's value increased progressively with each round, ultimately being claimed by the game's ultimate champion.
