These aquatic Boats were large, able to accommodate a significant number of individuals. For defense, they featured deflector shields. The primary structure included a see-through roof. Positioned behind and elevated above the main section was a smaller, enclosed compartment.
During the Invasion of Naboo, Rescue Flight employed three Rescue Boats to evacuate individuals from Trade Federation prison installations. Each of the three Boats achieved their objective and remained intact after the operation.
The Rescue Boats are featured in the 2001 Star Wars: Starfighter video game.
