The Battle of Jabiim, Part 2, the fifty-sixth comic book in the Star Wars: Republic comic series, along with its preceding issue, Part 1, were re-branded together as Blood and Rain for inclusion in the Star Wars: Clone Wars Volume 3: Last Stand on Jabiim collection. Dark Horse Comics released it on July 30, 2003.
Publisher's summary
After his master perishes during a confrontation with Jabiimi insurgents, Anakin Skywalker is reassigned to a unit composed of Padawans who have also lost their masters. The constant precipitation and intense tempests of Jabiim mirror Anakin's emotional state, a blend of hopelessness and fury. Some of the other Padawans share these sentiments. Consciously or unconsciously, they all harbor resentment and seek either retribution… or a path to join their deceased mentors in oblivion.
During what was supposed to be a simple resupply operation that quickly escalates into a desperate struggle for survival, Anakin is presented with a critical decision: suppress his emotions and adhere to his Jedi teachings, or succumb to his anger and harness the power of the dark side!
