Rainbow comet

The sole means of securing a safe journey to Roon, a planet, for hundreds of years were the vibrant rainbow comets located in the Cloak of the Sith nebula. Once a year, this comet traced a course through the dangerous spaceway to briefly circle the star of the system. Its movement was similar to a bouncing object.

I-5YQ, a protocol droid, in 20 BBY, likened his journeys across the galaxy to the path of the now-famous Roon Comet during that time.

The explorer Mungo Baobab became well-known for using the comet's path to rediscover the Manda-Roon Merchant Route. As a result of this courageous and groundbreaking endeavor, lightstations were subsequently established to aid merchants and travelers in the future.
