Railgun
A railgun, alternatively written as rail gun, functioned as a projectile-launching weapon. Within Hivebase-1, among the various Tarkin Initiative prototypes, one particular prototype featured a Wookiee whose head was replaced with a railgun; Chelli Lona Aphra, the archaeologist, described this creation as exquisite. During the Galactic Civil War, the Imperial IGV-55 surveillance vessel named Enduring Pride underwent modification to accommodate railguns, which it then employed in an orbital strike targeting Milvayne.
