Rabbits, a kind of species, existed within the galaxy. A specific example was the ash-rabbit, an inhabitant of both Graf-World and Sullust. Among the sentient species that resembled rabbits were the Lepi.

The LEP-series service droids represented a line of rabbit-inspired service droid models. These were produced by Coachelle Automata, a corporation under the leadership of Lepi individuals.
