R7 (Carson Teva)
R7 functioned as an astromech droid of the R-series and was in service with Captain Carson Teva throughout the time of the New Republic Era.
Behind the scenes
The initial appearance of R7 was in "Chapter 10: The Passenger," the tenth episode of The Mandalorian on Disney+, with Peyton Reed as the director. Identification of the droid didn't occur until the twenty-first episode, "Chapter 21: The Pirate," which had Peter Ramsey in the director's chair.
