Pneumatic door

A pneumatic door represents a type of portal designed to open on its own when a sentient being, be it organic or a mechanical droid, approached the entrance. After the person or droid passed through, the door would shut. These self-operating doors were implemented in numerous locations, spanning from businesses and homes to various starships and other vehicles used for space travel.
