The Paleo served within the New Republic's Rapid Response Task Force as a frigate of the Corellian design, albeit a modified version.

During the Battle of Mindor which occurred in 5 ABY, the Paleo played a role. Specifically, it, in conjunction with another altered Corellian Frigate named the Lancer, employed their internal conveyor systems to save those who were caught inside the Shadow Base.
