Orion IV, situated within the Tion Cluster of the Outer Rim Territories, was a planet.
Description
Found at the border of the Indrexu Spiral, Orion IV resided within the Tion Hegemony. This terrestrial planet was characterized by its violet-hued sky. As one of the less prosperous planets of the Back Spiral, Orion IV functioned primarily as a common manufacturing center.
History
In the time leading up to the Battle of Yavin, Orion IV nearly erupted into full-scale rebellion. A Rebel base was located on the planet, but it was destroyed by the forces of the Galactic Empire during Operation Strike Fear.
