The Galactic Market, presently referred to as the Old Galactic Market, was a locality situated on Coruscant, as it was called in 3954 BBY. Prior to the Great Galactic War, this Market was a vibrant and active hub for commerce located on Coruscant. Following the Sacking of Coruscant, the Market fell under the dominion of the Migrant Merchants' Guild gang due to numerous uprisings. A insurrection skirmish took place here involving the Coruscant Security Force and the Migrant Merchants' Guild.
