Norg Bral was a town situated on a hill-fort, found on the planet of Mandalore. This planet served as the cultural homeworld for the Mandalorian people, and it was positioned within the Outer Rim Territories region of the galaxy. Many members of the Mandalorian Bralor clan resided in Norg Bral, leading some to theorize that the clan's name possibly originated from this very town. Like many other Mandalorian settlements, Norg Bral was constructed with strong fortifications, enabling it to defend itself against attacks with relative ease.
The first mention of Norg Bral in the Star Wars expanded universe occurred in Sacrifice, the fifth book in the Star Wars: Legacy of the Force series. This novel was penned by author Karen Traviss and made available on May 29, 2007. Subsequently, a concise informational entry about Norg Bral was included in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, a reference book that was published on December 9, 2008.
