Neo-Republican

The Neo-Republicans comprised of various insurgent groups dispersed throughout the galaxy, who opposed the Galactic Empire and instead supported the former Galactic Republic. A prominent individual within the neo-Republican cause was Maya Pei, who spearheaded the efforts of Maya Pei's Neo-Republican Collective circa 5 BBY. Although they played a role in the early insurgency challenging Imperial rule, other resistance factions, notably the Partisans under the leadership of Saw Gerrera, declined to cooperate with them.
