N0-HX was an astromech droid in the employ of Agent Fauler from the Republic Strategic Information Service. While Fauler was based on Tatooine during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, N0 functioned as Fauler's courier. N0-HX was utilized by Fauler to reach out to a contact aligned with the Republic, requesting their assistance in addressing a problem involving a doomsday weapon and Czerka.
BioWare introduced N0-HX in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game that launched on December 20, 2011. As Republic characters depart the spaceport, it initiates the Czerka Corp bonus mission sequence by getting in touch with them.
