Mini-droid
Miniature droids, also known as mini-droids, were smaller-scale iterations of droids, most notably astromech droids. These could be sold on Batuu around 34 ABY for a significant profit. These droids typically took the form of either BB-Series or R2 Series units. Mubo fabricated them as preliminary models for an actual product range intended for sale at his Droid Depot.
Behind the scenes
The debut of mini-droids occurred in the video game Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge. Within the game's narrative, it is explained that they are "Prototypes of a new line of mini-droids Mubo plans to sell at the Depot. Return them to the salvage tube of mumbo's Workshop and collect the reward.
