Mental maze

A toy known as a mental maze served as a training tool for Jedi younglings to develop their abilities in utilizing and manipulating the Force, as part of their training. These mazes were metal spheres that came in diverse dimensions, into which an individual would project a fragment of their consciousness. The difficulty of escaping the sphere increased as its size decreased; nevertheless, with practice, younglings could find the mazes quite manageable. In 12 ABY, Irek Ismaren attempted to ensnare Leia Organa Solo within the most intricate and diminutive sphere from Plett's assemblage of Jedi instructional instruments, employing Alter Mind alongside the maze's inherent attributes. The maze's structure involved multiple layers of nested spheres, interconnected by openings that Organa Solo perceived as unidirectional portals. Furthermore, she underwent unsettling hallucinations within the maze, potentially stemming from either Ismaren or her own inner psyche.
