A medical implant referred to a device suitable for insertion into a living organism. During the process of exhumation of the deceased Padmé Amidala's remains, the forensic droid unit known as ZED-6-7 performed a scan of the body, which led to the identification of this implant, further investigation showed markings that allowed it to be tracked.
