Mapuzo mining village

The Mapuzo mining village, a town dedicated to mining operations, was under the authority of the Galactic Empire and situated on the planet of Mapuzo. A safehouse belonging to the Hidden Path was established within the confines of the village. It was in 9 BBY that Tala Durith leveraged this secure location to facilitate the escape of Obi-Wan Kenobi and the youthful Leia Organa from the pursuing Imperial troops present on the world.
