"Mad About Me," which is also known as "Cantina Band," is a song that was performed by the group Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes. This was a piece they particularly enjoyed playing, and they performed it within Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina at the moment when Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi came in, seeking transport from Tatooine and headed to Alderaan. Shortly after Skywalker and Kenobi's arrival, a conflict arose between them and two other individuals present, Ponda Baba and Dr. Cornelius Evazan, which brought the Modal Nodes' performance to a halt; however, they started playing the song again once the disturbance was over. Notably, the song held the top spot on the charts for top hits on Tatooine.

A musical version of the song was performed in Garsa Fwip's Sanctuary during Boba Fett's initial entrance.
