Light globe
Spherical devices, known as light globes, emitted a gentle glow and floated in place. Their soft light was visible from a distance of thirty meters. These globes were famously used in 18 BBY by the Kilji species' government organization, the Kilji Illumine. A number of these light globes provided illumination for a conference chamber located on the Kilji war cruiser named Whetstone.
Behind the scenes
The novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Lesser Evil, published in 2021, featured light globes. This novel served as the concluding part of the Ascendancy Trilogy written by Timothy Zahn.
