Laser suture
A specialized medical instrument, known as a laser suture, employed laser technology to stitch together wounds. During the year 22 BBY, Ruug Quarnom, a member of the Neimoidian Royal Guardswoman, made use of laser sutures. She employed them to aid in the healing of an injury sustained by a korgee beast, an injury that she herself inflicted using her sniper rifle to prevent the creature from assaulting Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Jedi Master.
