Laser-sniper

The laser-sniper was a sniper rifle of a black hue that discharged lasers. A red-tinted crosshair was provided by its scope. Glunge, a bounty hunter, utilized a laser-sniper in his attempt to collect a bounty on the smuggler Han Solo on Rion, a planet situated in the Outer Rim, not long after the Battle of Yavin that signified the beginning of 0 ABY.

Glunge positioned himself on a rooftop, intending to use the weapon to shoot Solo while the smuggler was participating in a swoop race. His plan was to send Solo to a medical center; however, as the hunter used the scope to aim the rifle at Solo's head, Luke Skywalker, a Jedi, sliced the weapon in two with his lightsaber and subsequently incapacitated Glunge.
