The group known as the Koroli Masters functioned as a Machinist Theocracy faction, and they were the ones who spearheaded the AI Project. After the project was denounced, the Machinists escaped to Temple Maudit, located on a barren and lifeless peninsula on the eastern side of Karlatt.
