Kindee Ya
Kindee Ya, a celebrated Jedi Knight of the Quermian race and female gender, was a member of the Jedi Order during the twilight years of the Galactic Republic.
Biography
Hailing from the homeworld of Quermia, Kindee Ya was a Force-sensitive female Quermian born into species's society. Upon entering the Jedi Order, Ya underwent training to master the Force, eventually earning the title of Jedi Knight.
Ya, a well-known telepath within the Jedi ranks, had less prominence than her fellow Quermian, Master Yarael Poof, who was a Jedi High Councilor. During the Separatist Crisis, a period of conflict within the Galactic Senate, Poof served on the Council and gave his life in 27 BBY to stop Ashaar Khorda, a terrorist who threatened Coruscant. Ya, along with Vinian Ska and Loo Raelo, was present at Master Poof's funeral, held in the pyre room high in the Temple.
