Jubben served as a senator before his demise. He met his end at the hands of ASN-121, a specialized assassin droid belonging to Zam Wesell, the bounty hunter. This occurred before the plot to assassinate Padmé Amidala, a senator of the Galactic Republic, in 22 BBY. Jubben was among a number of senators who were killed in the years leading up to the Clone Wars. Following the shooting of ASN-121 by Wesell during the attempt on Amidala's life, pieces of the droid were discovered in an alley within the undercity of Coruscant, a planet. Upon being sliced, the droid's logs exposed Wesell's participation in Jubben's murder, along with her involvement in several other previously unsolved assassinations.
