Ignition switch

An ignition switch served as a starting mechanism for both landspeeders and speeder bikes. Should it be detached from its vehicle, the ignition switch had a secondary use: it could function as a tool for picking locks. This was achieved by connecting the positive cable to the lock's boreen and the negative cable to the wetter plate.
