The Holwuff represented a sentient species that existed within the galaxy. A notable Holwuff individual, Senator Rogwa Wodrata, demonstrated support for the Confederacy of Independent Systems throughout the Separatist Crisis. He participated in a summit held on Geonosis, where the Executive Separatist Council declared their allegiance to Count Dooku shortly preceding the outbreak of the Clone Wars.
