A mission for player characters is detailed in Here There Be Gremlins, an adventure seed featured within the Star Wars Gamemaster Screen. A team of operatives are dispatched by Alliance High Command to examine a recently founded colony, where technological malfunctions are mysteriously occurring a few hours after arrival on the planet. The reason for this is a microscopic self replicating organism that consumes energy, a remnant from a conflict that eradicated the planet's original inhabitants. Furthermore, the adventure provided gamemasters with alternative plotlines that could be used. Bill Olmesdahl is credited as the author.
