The Hawk series represented a line of freighter vessels manufactured by the Corellian Engineering Corporation in the time leading up to the Clone Wars. Its production was halted during the Clone Wars period to allow for a shift towards building military ships. Production of the Hawk series was resumed at some point before Darth Krayt rose to the position of Emperor.
