Gricha

Gricha represented a type of larval organism utilized by the Yuuzhan Vong for the purpose of plugging up openings within their grashal structures. These creatures consumed sand, subsequently producing a shell-esque material. It's reasonable to assume they were a diminutive version of the gragricha.
