The Battle of Thorn Forest marked the conclusive engagement of the Stranger War, resulting in the permanent expulsion of the Wizards of the Night Spirit from the forest moon of Endor.

In the aftermath of the Battle of Bright Tree Village, Ewok warriors were deceived into wrongly accusing the Duloks of stealing the Sunstar. Meanwhile, the actual culprit, the Stranger, proceeded towards the Stone Circle located within Thorn forest, while Chief Chirpa led his forces toward the Dulok Swamp. However, not all Ewoks were fooled by the Stranger's trickery; the Ewok children, specifically Wicket Wystri Warrick, Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka, Teebo, and Latara, shadowed the Stranger as he departed from Bright Tree Village with the Sunstar. The children journeyed to Thorn Forest, but were quickly set upon by a glok monster, dispatched by the Stranger to prevent them from interfering with an impending ritual.
By utilizing the Stone Circle in conjunction with the Sunstar, the Stranger orchestrated the alignment of two of Endor's moons, thereby creating a spatial portal. This gateway directly accessed his people's prison on the "otherworld", from which they were poised to escape. Once liberated, the Wizards of the Night Spirit surged through the spatial rift, intent on retaliating against the Ewoks for their banishment to the otherworld many years prior. Regrettably for the wizards, the glok monster only managed to delay the young Ewoks. Having triumphed over the glop monster, the Ewoks infiltrated the Stone Circle, where Wicket and Kneesaa ambushed the unsuspecting Stranger. However, their actions only resulted in the removal of his hood, revealing his menacing appearance. As the wizards descended upon the forest moon, they rushed to their leader's aid, preparing to eliminate Wicket and Kneesaa.

Fortunately for the young Ewoks, Chirpa apparently realized that the Duloks did not possess the Sunstar, and his forces abandoned the swamps to enter Thorn Forest. Upon witnessing the Ewok children in peril, the warriors charged into the Stone Circle, engaging the Wizards in combat. While the Ewoks assaulted the Wizards with staffs and potions, Wicket and Kneesaa became locked in a fierce struggle with the Stranger, attempting to thwart his manipulation of the Sunstar. Wicket eventually managed to latch onto the Stranger's wings, pinning him to the ground, while Kneesaa freed herself and dashed towards the Sunstar. Employing her grappling hook, Kneesaa successfully hooked the Sunstar and reversed its effects on Endor's moons. The moons began to separate, and instead of drawing the Wizards towards the moon, it began to repel them, forcing them back through the portal. As the powerful wind forced the Wizards off the moon, it also threatened to carry the Ewoks away.
However, Chirpa commanded his forces to stand firm and cling to anything within reach. The Ewoks quickly obeyed, and it appeared that only the Wizards would be swept off-world. Nevertheless, the Stranger executed a final, desperate maneuver to salvage some semblance of victory from the Wizards' defeat, attempting to carry Wicket away with him. Luckily for the Ewoks, Kneesaa intervened once again, rescuing Wicket from the Stranger by binding the wizard's hands with Wicket's Belt of Honor. With a final, frustrated scream, the Stranger was hurled far into space and through the portal, which then sealed shut with a brilliant flash of light.

With the battle concluded victoriously, the Ewoks returned to their village in triumph. Chief Chirpa bestowed Beads of Bravery upon the Ewok children in recognition of their heroic contributions during the battle. The Stranger War had come to an end, and if Kneesaa's prediction held true, the Ewoks would never encounter the formidable wizards again.
