The initial appearance of Venisa Doza's X-wing was in the Star Wars Resistance season 2 episode titled "Rendezvous Point." Bill George, an experienced modelmaker, conceived the starfighter's design, crafting a 3D model that subsequently underwent scanning for the purpose of generating the animation model. The design intent for both Doza's X-wing and her droid Torch was to convey a sense of long-term use dating back to the time of the Galactic Civil War, reflecting her history as a pilot since her early years.
