The Vasudra was a GR-75 medium transport from Gallofree Yards that the Azzameen family possessed and used.
The Vasudra meets its end. Not long after the Battle of Hoth, the family's leader, Tomaas Azzameen, along with his older son Galin Azzameen, utilized the Vasudra to obtain bacta from the black market. These sellers turned out to be Loose Cannon pirates attempting to seize the Vasudra for their own purposes. However, with the help of Ace Azzameen, Aeron Azzameen and Emon Azzameen the Vasudra survived the attack and the pirates were repelled, but only after Tomaas compelled the pirate leaders to hand over the bacta to them.
Soon after this, the Vasudra served as a transport vessel, delivering the bacta to a Rebel hospital that had been established following the Battle of Hoth. During this mission, however, the Imperial Star Destroyer Corrupter, accompanied by two Lancer-class frigates, the Blue Hawk and Cascade, entered the system and launched an assault on the hospital. Suspecting that their allies might be involved, the Rebels demanded that Tomaas relinquish control of the Vasudra to them and assist in the evacuation. Tomaas swiftly agreed, understanding the importance of proving their innocence in the sudden attack. The Vasudra then docked with the Hospital and aided in the evacuation of the wounded, while the few Rebel and Azzameen ships present defended against the Imperial ambush. Unfortunately, the Vasudra was unable to jump to hyperspace in time after detaching from the Hospital and was destroyed in a focused attack by Imperial forces, becoming one of several ships lost in the engagement.
It is assumed that Tomaas and Galin were still on board when the Vasudra was destroyed, leading to the presumption of their deaths, as no survivors from the stricken vessel have been reported.
