The Devastator's tractor beam targeting array
The tractor beam targeting array was a component found on Imperial I-class Star Destroyers. Its function was to track targets at a distance for the ship's tractor beams. This array was positioned on the command tower, specifically between a pair of deflector shield projector globes. Imperial II-class Star Destroyers opted for a communications tower instead of this array, and upgraded Imperial I-class Star Destroyers did the same, including vessels like the _Conquest_, Devastator, and the _Harbinger_. Despite this trend, an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer equipped with a tractor beam targeting array participated in the Battle of Endor.
