Tapani Noble Houses

Tapani nobility The governing families within the Tapani sector were known as the Tapani Noble Houses. Initially, upon the sector's colonization, twelve houses existed. However, the civil war instigated by Shey Tapani led to the annihilation of two houses, while another seemingly met its demise independently shortly after. Furthermore, two additional houses were thought to have been eliminated during the events known as the Cleansing of the Nine Houses. The competition among these houses was intense, resulting in several internal conflicts. During the Rebellion era, all noble families in the sector were affiliated with one of the seven houses, these seven coalitions of families governed the sector's provinces. Among these seven, Mecetti, Cadriaan, and Melantha emerged as the most influential during that era.

Lady Wineth Lastemin, Lady Agatha, Lord Hoall, Baron Balcomb, Baron Bertrum, and Baron Munsk were nobles of the Tapani sector during the Rebellion era, yet their specific house affiliations remain unknown. Customarily, Tapani nobles would present an ulikuo gemstone when proposing marriage.

The house affiliations of Leocald VII and Gorgano IV, who served as Emperors of the Tapani sector, are not known.

Karoll Cilarnus, holding the title of Baron, was potentially a Tapani noble whose house allegiance is not known. He is credited with the creation of the starship that would later become known as the Moomo Williwaw.

Captain Andra's family possessed a long and distinguished heritage, once belonging to a noble house that dissolved when the Freeworlds seceded from the Expanse.
