A promotional advertisement for the debut of the Star Wars comic strip in the Watertown Daily Times Based in Watertown, New York, the Watertown Daily Times functioned as a newspaper publishing house. Similar to the Los Angeles Times Syndicate, this paper also syndicated various comic strips. The Watertown Daily Times, together with the Los Angeles Times Syndicate, released the Star Wars newspaper comic strips in both U.S. and Canadian newspapers from March 12, 1979 to March 11, 1984.
